AAAAHH! Thank you Krista, Ms. Piraino, and everyone for your kind and thoughtful feedback! This has been an incredibly rewarding experience, and would have been even if I hadn't won a thing. I can't wait to follow you all on Twitter and watch your careers, because there is some serious talent in these entries. Cheers, everyone!

THANK YOU, Ms. Piraino, for those amazing and thoughtful words on all of our stories. It wasn't a fast process for you, I'm sure, but I hope you know how much we all appreciate your valuable time!

And thank you SO much to the wonderful hostess, Krista! You're a rockstar for organizing this contest!! :D

So much excitement here, too! I agree with Audrey; can't wait to stalk (er, follow) you all on Twitter. <3

Congratulations Audrey Dion I'm so happy for you.
I really enjoyed this contest it gave me a much greater appreciation for the work that goes into query writing and reading.
Thank you too, Ms. Piraino for taking the time to do this. What a huge challenge to have stacks of submissions waiting for you each day.
All of the submissions here showed talent. Some very professional critiques by the others as well. Both Audrey and Becky (as well as others) gave me such wonderful feedback it was very encouraging and rewarding.
Finally, a big thank you to Krista for arranging and orchestrating this fun event. The idea for this contest is brilliant!
Why does this blog keep mistaking me for a robot? I'm not certain how I feel having to reaffirm my humanity so often clicking a box...

HI!

CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who won 1st, 2rd, or 3rd place! I can't quite believe I made it into the rankings at all, it's such an honor. And best of luck to everyone else! Don't give up, and keep chasing your dreams of being publishing. A big thank you to Krista for putting on this fantastic opportunity, and Ms. Piraino for participating and taking the time out of her busy schedule to read and critique everyone's entries. You gals are awesome!

By the way, I haven't been receiving any emails from your blog for the last couple months. I don't think this is a flaw on my end, because after the first time this happened, I tried subscribing under a different email, and I still haven't gotten any emails whenever you make new posts. Is there a way I can fix this?

You're so welcome, everyone! I'm happy to hear it was a positive experience.

Thanks for the heads-up (and the e-mail), Katherine! I already responded to your e-mail, but for anyone else who might be having the same problem, I changed my blog address about a month and a half ago. It didn't occur to me until afterward that subscribers' subscriptions would likely get messed up. Try subscribing again, and if that doesn't work, I'll see if I can hunt down a solution on the Internet...
