My First Guest Blog!

My first guest blog went up yesterday! I was going to post about it then, but we had a few technical difficulties, so I ended up posting about Skippyjon instead. Anyway, check it out, if you feel so inclined. And follow Weronika Janczuk's blog while you're at it. Lots of great industry information over there.

Also, if you're into that whole Twitter thing, I finally succumbed. Sometimes, you just need to tweet someone, you know? At least now I have another public place in which to indulge my obsession with sideways smiley faces:) Still trying to decide if that's a good thing...

Any other links you'd like to share?

I read your guest post, Krista! Good job!

I have a twitter account, too, but I don't follow it very much. I think I would more if I knew more people, so we'll have to be friends. :)

Loved your post over at Weronika's blog.

I've had a twitter account that hasn't been reintroduced to my post-pregnancy life yet. I'll have to add you.

I was just thinking it would be fun to meet sometime. We could meet up in St George and have some lunch or something. Maybe take the kids to the Visitors' Center?

Nice guest blog!

Twitter? I'm not on Facebook yet. :)

Amy, I'm following you now! We'll have to tweet sometime:)

Kayeleen, it would be fun to meet up sometime (especially now that we're a two-car family - yay!). We'll have to work out a day.

Thank you, A.J. I'm not on Facebook, either. To be honest, I barely know how it works. (I think there's something called a wall, right, and something about pictures? And that's pretty much the extent of my Facebook know-how.)

I"m still not on Twitter, but when I "succumb," you will be the first person I look up.

I loved your guest blog. I've been following Weronika since last April, when Amy helped her pull off her outrageous April Fool's prank. You know, the one where she announced she was an agent. She totally had me going. And now she is one.

Myrna, I saw your comment over there. Thanks for leaving one, and for checking out the post. Due to some technical difficulties, the post didn't go up as soon as we wanted it to, so I was afraid no one would read it!

Krista, I really enjoyed your guest blog! I agree with everything you said, PARTICULARLY that first drafts are made to be destroyed! I was shocked when it first occurred to me that I was going to have to scrap the entire first draft of my novel and start over from scratch, but in the end it was absolutely the right decision and worth all the effort. It's nice to see that other writers have suffered the same pain. ^_^

Best of luck with your writing and tweeting!

Thanks, Marissa! I enjoyed your post, too. Also, CINDERS sounds like a great read. I'll have to check it out.
