The Supportive Commenter Award

We bloggers love comments. And we all have our frequent commenters, those thoughtful internet friends who comment on pretty much every post (even the ones about French-cooking Mormons, or French cooking and Mormons, or whatever). The Supportive Commenter Award is for all of them.

Here are a few of my top commenters, who are like rays of sunshine on cloudy days (or, since I live in southern Nevada, like patches of shade on are-you-kidding-we-never-have-cloudy days).

A.L. Sonnichsen of The Green Bathtub
Holly (she doesn’t have a blog, but I still think of her as my first (unofficial) follower/commenter)
Kayeleen Hamblin of Kayeleen’s Creation Corner (she's taking a bit of a blog break right now, as she recently found out she's pregnant, but I've always appreciated her comments in the past)
Kelly Bryson of Book Readress
Liesl of Writer Ropes and Hopes

And last but not least, Myrna Foster of Night Writer, who passed this award on to me.

Give their blogs a look-see. And don’t forget to leave a story comment on my first blog contest. The contest is open until midnight tonight, so you still have a chance to win a free book!

You're on my list too. Thanks for such an interesting blog. And I love to leave comments and when others comment. It's way more important to me to read what my readers say than whatever I've written.

JustineDell, you're a follower, so you can comment again (and double your chances of winning)!

Amen, Kelly:)

Thanks! Yay for comments!!

And thanks for always commenting on my blog. It makes me feel like I'm not talking to myself!

But I LIKE your French cooking posts. I just picked up my shiny copy of Julia Child's book at the library. It must be very popular; I had it on hold almost as long as Catching Fire.

You're welcome, Amy.

Myrna, I'm glad you like them:) We haven't had much time to cook from the ol' MASTERING THE ART OF FRENCH COOKING lately (although we're planning to try omelettes this week), so I'm glad your copy finally came in.

Krista, Right back at you. I just gave you another Sugar Doll. Hope you don't mind. :)

Hey! Thanks for the award. Glad I checked in on my favorite blogs today. I miss my blogging friends (a lot).

Hope you are doing well.

Oh, Kayeleen, you're welcome. And thanks for stopping by. I hope you're feeling all right. We're all doing GREAT around here:)

Holy Toledo, Krista! You made my whole night!

No, I don't have a blog, and Holly is just a nickname. My wacky dad named me after one of the buildings where he went to law school (go figure).

I keep coming back to your blog because you remind me of a steady little boat sailing day and night. The lamps are always shining and the sails are always billowing in the wind. You give me a lot of courage to keep my boat going, too.
