The Silver Lining Award

Thank you, Kayeleen and Stina, for this cheery award. We all need a pick-me-up every now and then, don’t we? (My pick-me-up of choice is chocolate milk--or anything chocolate, really.) And this blog is definitely that for me.

I’m passing this award on to the following five bloggers, who are even sunnier than I am:

A.L. Sonnichsen of The Green Bathtub
Charity Bradford of My Writing Journey
ChristaCarol of ChristaCarol Jones
JustineDell of Justine Dell
Myrna Foster of Night Writer

Give them a look-see. I’m sure they’ll make you smile.

(P.S. And just so you know, I won’t be around much for the next little while. I am fired up--and I mean, FIRED UP--about the revisions I’ve been working on, so all I want to do is write, write, write. I’ll still drop an interview on you every now and then, and a few other posts I have rolling around in my brain, but I will definitely be blogging, and commenting on other people’s blogs, less frequently.)

Good for you. I wish I could find the motivation to revise more and blog less.

It's just than one is so hard and the other ... too damn easy.

Thank you Krista! And good luck on those revisions, take advantage of it while the motivation is there. I'm hoping mine comes back soon ;)

Thanks, Krista! And I'm glad your revisions are going so well. I love your blog, but I'd rather read your book(s). :)

Charity, you are so welcome. I hope your motivation comes back soon, too - maybe that marathon will kick you into overdrive!

Myrna, you are so welcome, too. And yeah, I can't wait to get Bob into your inbox:)

Thanks, Stina - for the luck and the award!

Re:Kidlit comments...

I guess I shouldn't have commented when I was so riled up. But thanks for your commment. I obviously stirred the pot with that one! =)I really didn't mean to offend everyone, but that's what i get by speaking out without thinking about it first.

Don't worry, Kathryn - no offense taken. Language in books is one of those areas in which everybody has an opinion:) I'm more bothered by sex and violence, personally, but I've put plenty of books down because I just got tired of all the swearing.

Krista, I'm sorry my comment is belated, but thank you so much for the award! Hooray! :)

And I wanted to also say HOORAY about your WiP. I need to get crackin' with mine. I hope I get that burst of inspiration soon, because right now I'm really dragging through it. I love those times when I'm on-writing-fire. Maybe if I can get all my kids well and sleeping through the night, I might feel that burst of energy again....

Have fun writing and thanks again!
