I think the inaugural round of "An Agent's Inbox" went pretty well, but since I'm always looking to improve (and since Round Two will start in just a couple of weeks), I really want your feedback. What went well, what didn't go so well, and what suggestions do you have?

I don't know because I've been MIA from Blog Land the last couple of weeks and din't see it. :(
But I'm off to see what all of this this fun-ness is about! :)
I thought the entire ordeal went swimmingly! Lots of great feedback to and from all parties involved, and Ms. Motter was startlingly prompt with her decisions. I can't think of any improvements, to be honest.
I thought it was perfectly perfect just as it was. I loved Ms. Motter's frank comments. It definitely gave the contest the "agent's inbox" feel. So helpful! (Of course, I didn't have to endure the comments personally. My WIP is lit fic)
I agree. Great job all around. I loved the "Agent's Inbox" feel. Receiving feedback on the query/email we send that at times receive no response is super helpful.
My only complaint was that she didn't want middle grade, so I couldn't enter. :) Seriously, great job!
I thought it was great! Are participants from June allowed to re-enter in July?
Thanks!
Suzanne, it would be great to have an agent who represents MG come and participate in one of our contests, wouldn't it? I'll have to work on that...
Sharon, I am going to ask that June participants hold back from entering the July contest, just so that more people get a chance.
Everyone else, thank you so much for your kind comments. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
It was awesome! Are you planning to do it more than just once more?
Melinda, I'm hoping to host more of these contests, but this month's contest is the only one I have scheduled.
I thought you did a great job, Krista. Thanks for all your work moderating/setting up, etc. It's much appreciated!!
I know this comment is a little late, but it just came to me. I think it would be cool if in future Agent Inbox Contests, the agent wasn't a secret. That way we can see what the agent thinks of the agent personalization part of the query.
Thanks again for the contest! I am blogging about the July one at sharonbayliss.blogspot.com.
Sharon, really interesting idea. I just scheduled our next contest for the end of September, so that's something to think about.
